Saga Communications of Tuckessee, LLC, and its parent companies, which includes their members, officers, directors, and shareholders, are referred to collectively herein as “The Beaver 100.3/WVVR.” The Beaver 100.3/WVVR will conduct “The Beaver 100.3/WVVR's “HOMETOWN HEROES” (hereinafter referred to as “feature”), a online feature that will begin November 4, 2009 and run through TBD on the The Beaver 100.3/WVVR website in which The Beaver 100.3/WVVR listeners will have a chance to submit a photo of themselves to be featured on www.beaver1003.com through UPICKEM.
Qualifying Methodology: No purchase is necessary to enter. Subject to the limitations below, beginning November 4, 2009, The Beaver 100.3/WVVR will conduct the feature. To enter the feature; a listener must submit a photo of themselves by logging on to our website at beaver1003.com and completing the necessary registration process. ENTRANTS MUST BE 18 OR OLDER and have permission from the subjects in the photo or their legal guardians to publicly post the image being submitted.
You must be 18 or older to submit a photo. Only one photo per person will be accepted. NO NUDITY OR QUESTIIONABLE CONTENT WILL BE ALLOWED. The Beaver 100.3/WVVR has the right to not accept any picture for any reason. Pictures containing questionable content, curse words, or inappropriate material may not be used. All pictures/images become the property of The Beaver 100.3/WVVR and may be used in any manner.
Entrants agree to having their photo/description/public name/city/state posted on the feature website.
This feature is open to Tennessee and Kentucky Residents who hold a valid form of photo identification, and are 18 years of age or older at time of feature, with the exception of employees of The Beaver 100.3/WVVR, the above sponsors, advertising agencies, affiliates, employees of other radio stations, and members of their immediate families. Only one submission is permitted per household and one submission per family is permitted for the duration of this contest. The term “family” includes spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren and co-habitating significant others.
The Beaver 100.3/WVVR reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if these contest rules have been violated in any way. RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. By entering, each participant agrees that his or her voice, name, photograph, caricature and/or likeness may be used by The Beaver 100.3/WVVR for promotional purposes. All entrants agree to provide The Beaver 100.3/WVVR their name, address, phone number and social security number. Failure to supply required information makes submitter ineligible.
No purchase is necessary to participate. This feature is void where prohibited by law. The Beaver 100.3/WVVR is not responsible for technical problems due to telephones, problems associated with telephones, mail, email delivery or access to www.Z975.com. The following are specifically related to E-features and E-Mail Club promotions on www.beaver1003.com: a) All appropriate information in required fields must be filled out or submitters will be disqualified. b) To be eligible a submitter must reside within the listening area of The Beaver 100.3/WVVR, as defined within the exclusive discretion of The Beaver 100.3/WVVR management. c) Any problems with the internet or email are not The Beaver 100.3/WVVR’s responsibility. Rules are subject to change without notice. Official rules are available at 1640 Old Russellville Pike, Clarksville, TN during regular business hours, on the The Beaver 100.3/WVVR website at www.beaver1003.com for the duration of the feature. As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, The Beaver 100.3/WVVR reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any feature or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of The Beaver 100.3/WVVR management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant. Decisions of The Beaver 100.3/WVVR officials are final!
Feature entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the feature commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to The Beaver 100.3/WVVR the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
The Beaver 100.3/WVVR reserves the right to use any and all information related to the feature, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
The feature and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, Inc., and/or The Beaver 100.3/WVVR. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
UPICKEM and The Beaver 100.3/WVVR are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
The Beaver 100.3/WVVR reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
